This special Ginjo commemorating the 1200th anniversary of Koyasan's founding was released by Hatsusakura Brewery in Katsuragi Town, Wakayama, to celebrate the founding of the Shingon Buddhist sanctuary by Kobo Daishi in 816. Brewed as a tokubetsu ginjo using locally sourced rice and mountain spring water, it expresses refined aromatic character befitting this historic occasion.
