Brewed in 2008, this vintage umeshu uses Benisashi plums from Fukui Prefecture steeped in aged sake from the same year with rock sugar. The mellow sweetness of the koshu base, developed through room-temperature maturation, merges with the fruit acidity into a layered, full-bodied plum liqueur bottled at 12% alcohol.
