- 1882Founded by first-generation brewer Kyusaku Mochizuki.
- 1954Resumed sake brewing after suspending production during World War II due to rice shortages.
- 1960Began selling the ginjo sake 'Hakuro' in April.
- 1968Won the gold award at the Tokyo University of Agriculture sake competition.
- 1984Began a streak of three consecutive gold awards at the National New Sake Awards starting this year.
- 2009Began brewing under Noto toji Koji Nishihara starting this brewing year.
- 2018Won gold at the National New Sake Awards for three consecutive brewing years (2016-2018), reaching 20 total gold awards.
