Timeline

  1. 1689Sake brewing began in front of Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, under the brand name "Horaisan".
  2. 1900A branch brewery was established in Kozaki, Katori-gun (present-day Chiba), producing the brand "Koshin".
  3. 1909A branch brewery was established in Uozaki-cho, Hyogo Prefecture, producing the brand "Jinyu".
  4. 1913The business was formally organized as a limited partnership company with capital of 250,000 yen.
  5. 1921The company was reorganized into a stock company with capital of 1,000,000 yen.
  6. 1942Brewing operations were consolidated at the Kozaki brewery, which remains the company's brewing site today.
  7. 1999The "Jinyu Kura Matsuri" brewery festival began.
  8. 2004Sales of the "Fudo" series began.
