Japan's only sake brewery that is consistently produced with sake brewing from rice making
Since 1786, the company has been making its own sake rice (long -time rice) in its own rice field and has been making sake in rice.
The prepared water is used using the spring water (soft water) of the company's groundwater (hard water) and the sacred water "Shimizu".

1766
The family's ancestors ran a coastal shipping merchant business.
1786
Kazaemon, the founder of a branch family, established the sake brewery and began growing rice for brewing.
1938
Kuze Shuzoten Co., Ltd. was formally incorporated.
1978
Kazuyoshi became the 8th-generation head of the brewery.
2006
Won the Gold Award at the National New Sake Awards (Zenkoku Shinshu Kanpyokai).
2008
Won the Gold Award again at the National New Sake Awards.
2019
Yoshihiro became the 9th-generation head of the brewery.
