Kimibandai is produced by Tanaka Brewery, founded in 1655 in southern Ibaraki Prefecture, making it one of the oldest continuously operating sake producers in the Kanto region. The brewery draws on underground water reserves fed by the Tone River and the rich agricultural land of the area to craft its sake. The daiginjo expression of Kimibandai is recognized for its deep, full-bodied character.
