Asahimatsu
Asahimatsu Shuzou is a sake brewery based in Nagano Prefecture, a region known as one of Japan's most significant sake-producing areas, with breweries scattered across mountain valleys at elevations ranging from 300 to nearly 1,000 meters. The brewery completed a new production facility in 1998 and focuses on quality-driven brewing using high-grade ingredients suited to Nagano's alpine environment. Nagano's second-highest count of sake breweries in Japan reflects a long fermentation tradition tied to the prefecture's cold climate, clean mountain water, and locally grown rice.
