Nigorizake from Asahimatsu Shuzo in Yame, Fukuoka, is a cloudy unfiltered sake brewed in the brewery's traditional winter-only cold fermentation style. The rough filtering leaves rice solids in suspension, giving the sake a creamy texture and a rich, milky sweetness. Soft groundwater from the Yabe River region forms the base of this distinctive style.
