Natsunama (summer nama) sake is released unheated specifically for warm-weather enjoyment, emphasizing the bright, fresh notes that pasteurization would mellow. The tokubetsu (special) designation reflects either a specific rice variety or brewing technique that elevates it above a standard junmai.
