秋田縣
創始人的祖先從戰國末期至江戶初期往來於加賀國(今石川縣),人稱「加賀人」,在湯澤留名至今。1874年,「伊藤仁右衛門商店」正式創立,品牌名「兩關」取自八代仁右衛門,借用「東劍西酒,東西兩橫綱」之說而得名。明治中期,七代仁右衛門時代(約1880年代),因院內銀山繁盛帶動清酒需求大增,為釀出不亞於灘伏見大型清酒的佳釀,特派兄弟赴外學習技術,此後歷代自力培養技術人才。明治末年,第九代仁右衛門與直右衛門共同開發出獨特的「低溫釀造法」和「伊藤式天窗」,在第一屆全國酒類評鑑會上榮獲一等獎,並將技術廣泛公開,推動了秋田乃至東北地區低溫釀造技術的普及。此後,酒藏在堅守優良傳統的同時持續探索創新。
