這家酒造擁有約200年的歷史,明治初年曾是頗具規模的歷史名釀。名工渡邊直彥曾榮獲第27屆全國新酒鑑評會金獎,並於1995年底重返酒造。現任總裁渡邊正在打造全新的「農業出口」品牌,清酒釀造米100%使用兵庫縣吉川地區出產的酒米。
