Ohyama Tokubetsu Junmai is a step above standard junmai from Kato Kahachiro Shuzo, brewed in Yamagata with either a higher polishing ratio or a specially selected rice variety to earn the tokubetsu designation. The pure rice brewing delivers a full body with clean, dry flavors and a characteristic Yamagata clarity. It sits comfortably between everyday junmai and the more refined ginjo tier.
