Description
Fukui Prefecture Benisashi plums and rock sugar are steeped in 2010-vintage aged sake to produce this koshu umeshu. The brewery's practice of using its own long-matured sake as the base spirit gives this expression a depth and stability that sets it apart from standard shochu-based plum liqueurs.
