Chotusen (super-premium) grade sake from Shukuhou Shuzo in Wakayama, positioned at the top of the brewery's standard lineup. Founded in 1885, the brewery is known for dry, firm sake built on Ki River subterranean water. Specific rice variety and polishing ratio have not been publicly disclosed.

The origin of the name of the "celebration" was that Japan came to be seen with amazing eyes from other countries in the Meiji era, since it gained a great victory in the Nissin War, but in Japan in Japan. Celebrated the victory, and commemorated the alcohol name "celebration".
Received the National Sake Appraisal Heisei 5th, 6th, and 200th.
