Description
Hitomebore rice from Miyagi is polished to 65% for this honjozo, brewed at a Shiroishi brewery founded in 1873 at the foot of the Zao mountain range using Zao underground spring water drawn from 50 meters depth. The soft, mineral-light water shapes a sake with transparency and clean flavor. Zao Shuzo has accumulated over 33 gold medals at the National New Sake Competition over its history.

Zao Shuzo
Miyagi
Founded in Meiji 6. In response to the blessings of Zao's underflowing water, the cold wind of Zao, and the Zao Mountain Range, we consistently brew the quality first sake.
