Description
Honjozo Kintsuru Shiboritatenama from Katsuragawa Shuzo is a freshly pressed, unpasteurized honjozo released shortly after brewing in Niigata. The shiboritatenama designation captures the sake at its most vibrant and lively, before any heat treatment can mellow the freshness. Niigata's crisp winter climate shapes the clean, dry finish that is the hallmark of the region's brewing style.

Kato Shuzoten Co., Ltd.
Nigata
In 1994, the manufacturing area was relocated in search of good water, and the motto was to make sake from rice. Kato Sake Brewery's sake brewed under the rich nature of Sado and has been drunk by Sado people in the unique culture of Sado. It seems to be a matter of course, but I would like to thank and cherish this for granted. Investment for mass production and advertising is modest, but we are just a "quality Sado local sake" that pours heart -blooded for "good sake".
