Sakuragi Honjozo uses Nippon Bare polished to 70% from Seko Shuzo in Shiga. Nippon Bare is a classic general-purpose sake rice, and the Shiga brewery draws on water from the Lake Biwa watershed for this traditional everyday honjozo.
