Okunomatsu is the flagship sake from Okunomatsu Shuzo, a brewery founded in 1716 in Nihonmatsu, Fukushima, that draws on 40-year-aged spring water from the Adatara Mountains for brewing. The brewery is celebrated for winning 10 consecutive gold medals at Japan's National New Sake Appraisal and the 2018 IWC Champion Sake award, producing ginjo-quality sake designed for daily enjoyment.
