Founded in 1848 in Akashi, Hyogo Prefecture, Ibaraki Shuzo built its identity around the house brand Rairaku, a name meaning 'to bring merriment.' The ninth-generation brewer, who believes 'the greatest fun in life is chatting and drinking sake with really good friends,' shaped the brewery's philosophy around convivial, shared moments.
