Founded in 1848 in Akashi, Hyogo Prefecture, Ibaraki Shuzo built its identity around the house brand Rairaku, a name meaning 'to bring merriment.' The ninth-generation brewer, who believes 'the greatest fun in life is chatting and drinking sake with really good friends,' shaped the brewery's philosophy around convivial, shared moments. Flower yeast gives Rairaku its distinctive character, and each label color marks a different style within the lineup.
