Kiyomasa

Kiyomasa is produced by Kato Shuzo, established in 1864 in Yoshikawa Ward, Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture, one of the most celebrated sake-producing areas in Japan and historically one of the greatest sources of skilled toji (master brewers) in the country. The brewery focuses on creating sake that is approachable and enjoyable for everyday drinking, aspiring to be a sake made with and for its community. Niigata's renowned soft water and cold climate underpin the clean, gentle character associated with sake from this region.
