Description
Junmai Daiginjo Ohokunihigyokuari is a premium pure rice sake from the Tamanoharu Factory of Iwate Meijyo in Iwate Prefecture, polished to at least 50% without the addition of distilled alcohol. The name references Okuninushi no Mikoto, a deity from Japanese mythology associated with nation-building, suggesting a sake of ceremonial or prestigious character. Cold fermentation in Iwate's northern climate develops the complex, fragrant profile expected of junmai daiginjo production.
