六歌仙酒造位于山形县几乎正中央，以奥羽山脉黑森山的水源与山形县产酒米为原料，采用人与自然、技术融合的手工酿造方式，以"纯正发酵"为主题，致力于最大限度发挥微生物的力量。1972年由北村山地区五家酒造共同成立，经历多次组织变革，1992年正式成立现在的六歌仙株式会社。如同平安时代和歌名人"六歌仙"的诗词触动人心，酒造从超辛口到发泡清酒，持续挑战清酒的无限可能。
