Description
Dewanoyuki Onikoroshi is a dry Junmai from Watarai Honten, drawing on the tradition of the Tohoku region where the name Dewanoyuki (Snow of Dewa) evokes the rugged winter landscape. The onikoroshi (demon-slayer) designation signals a crisp, assertive dryness suited to food pairing.

I sense lots of cream cheese and tart notes on the nose, along with some apple and pear, that I can also taste in the mouth. Not exaggeratedly dry, remains very pleasant on the finish, with a hint of bitterness. Tasted at 12°, I do not feel any alcohol, which is impressive!
