Oujiman brewery, founded in 1724 in Yamagata Prefecture, draws its identity from two ancient provinces โ Dewa and Mutsu โ whose combined pride the name Oujiman represents. The Wagauji label was revived by a young passionate brewer using Dewasansan rice, the symbolic grain of Yamagata, and stands among the more accessible sake offerings from this historically rooted prefecture.
