Asahimasamune

Uchiki Shuzo, founded in 1774 in Saitama City, is the oldest sake brewery in the city and has produced Asahimasamune using groundwater from the Arakawa river basin for over 250 years. The brewery has earned gold prizes at the National New Sake Competitive Exhibition multiple times, and its main brewery building and adjacent structures were registered as national tangible cultural properties in 2017. Asahimasamune is known for its clean, approachable mouthfeel characteristic of sake brewed with Saitama's naturally soft water.
