History

1915
Founder Kamezo Miyashita began sake brewing in Tamano, Okayama Prefecture, marking the start of the company.
1965
The brewery was rebuilt and fully relocated to its current site on the banks of the Asahi River in Nishikawara, Okayama City.
1983
Began producing shochu.
1995
Launched Doppo, the first craft beer brewed in the Chugoku region.
2011
Obtained a whisky manufacturing license.
2015
Celebrated the 100th anniversary of its founding and introduced a whisky pot still.
2017
Opened the Sake Studio Doppokan and released Whisky Okayama.
2022
Marked the 100th anniversary of the company's incorporation.
