Tsushimaya is the original founding name of Miyozakura Jozo, a brewery established in 1893 in Minokamo, Gifu Prefecture. The brewery revived the Tsushimaya label as a premium line comprising exclusively junmaishu in designated grade classifications, produced in limited quantities and distributed only through authorized sake retailers who share the brewery's philosophy. The name carries the founders' wish to create sake that heals the drinker and serves as a bond connecting people.
