Established in 1893 in Minokamo City, Gifu Prefecture, Miyozakura Jozo draws its name from the image of cherry blossoms in full bloom, with the five petals of the sakura representing the five flavor elements the brewery strives to bring into balance. Rice grown in the rich nature of Gifu and clean water drawn from the Kiso River aquifer form the foundation of every expression. The brewery's widely recognized Panda Cup junmai has made Miyozakura one of the most approachable introductions to Gifu sake both domestically and overseas.
