Hakkoda Oroshi
Hatomasamune Co., Ltd. takes its name from an early Showa-era legend in which a white dove flew into the brewery and settled on the household shrine, becoming the guardian deity of the establishment in Towada City, Aomori Prefecture. The brewery draws its brewing water from underground sources fed by the Hakkoda mountains and the Oirase river system, and works with Aomori-grown sake rice varieties including Hanaomoi and Hanafubuki. Led by the first toji from Towada City to earn the Nambu Chief Brewer qualification, Hatomasamune pursues 'light and refreshing sake' with strong umami from the rice, embodied in the Hakkoda Oroshi label.
