酒藏於1875年(明治八年)創立,面朝山口縣瀨戶內海舊山陽道,是一家小規模酒藏。冬季杜氏在嚴寒中精心釀造,以「滋味絕佳的美麗日本酒」為目標。剛榨出的原酒不經過濾,在低溫下熟成一至兩年,呈現更深沉柔和且餘韻鋒利的酒質設計。此外,酒藏還在珍視傳統的同時積極嘗試創新,如以當地紅薯釀製的薯燒焼酎「吉助」,以及使用當地梅子釀製的「梅之香」梅酒等。
