Founded in Takahama, Ishioka (Ibaraki) in 1805 during the Bunka era.
1895
Awarded the first-class merit gold medal at the International Industrial Exposition in 1895.
1935
Hirose Shoten was established in 1935.
1961
Incorporated as a company in 1961.
2004
Joined the NEC rice paddy restoration project with the Asaza Fund in 2004.
2009
Won the Grand Prix at the first Japan Awards for Biodiversity in 2009, together with the Asaza Fund and Tanaka Shuzoten.
