Tokyo Zakari is a revived brand originally created during the Taisho era by a related Koyama family brewery in Kita Ward, Tokyo, where it was cherished as an everyday sake for the city's residents until the 1970s. Now stewarded by Koyamahonke Shuzo, founded in 1808 in Saitama, the brand is brewed with 100% Yamada Nishiki rice and carries a label inspired by Edo-period geometric patterns, with the engraved masu vessel symbolizing abundance and the flourishing of Tokyo.
