Desde a sua fundacao, a producao tem sido quase inteiramente artesanal, sem mecanizacao. Prova disso e que 80% do sake produzido pela Nara Toyosawa Sake Brewery e ocupado por 'sake de nome especifico', acima do nivel Junmai. Mesmo com esse pensamento artesanal, a cervejaria tem sido flexivel para atender as necessidades dos apreciadores de sake. Apesar de ser um armazem pequeno, continuaremos a trabalhar com grande orgulho na fabricacao de sake.

História
1868
Gisuke Toyosawa founded a sake wholesale business in Tamatsukuri, Osaka.
1887
The company expanded into sake brewing, starting operations in Nada, Fushimi, Nara, Sennan-Ozaki, and Satosho.
1935
The second-generation head, Gisaburo, relocated the brewery to its current site in Imaichi-cho.
1955
The family business was reorganized and incorporated as Nara Toyosawa Shuzo Co., Ltd.
1979
Yasuo, who later became the fourth-generation head, met master brewer Tadaharu Fujisawa of Tajima and invited him to join the brewery.
1990
"Daiginjo Houshuku" won a gold medal at the National New Sake Awards, the first of five consecutive years.
1992
The "Houshuku-kai" fan club was founded at the suggestion of supporters, to share the award-winning sake with enthusiasts.
2023
"Daiginjo Houshuku" won its 16th gold medal at the National New Sake Awards in the 2023 fiscal year.
