🍶
Description
Brewed in Niigata's snow country from Gohyakumangoku and Koshiibuki rice, this honjozo is made with just five ingredients: rice, water, koji, yeast, and a touch of brewer's alcohol. Notes of vanilla, cream, and nougat rise from the glass, leading into a light, dry palate typical of the karakuchi, or extra dry, style. Proceeds from the bottle support local mountain rescue efforts, a nod to the snow spirit for which the sake is named.
