Refreshingly dry, this honjozo has a light, creamy mouthfeel reminiscent of crisp white wine or pilsner. Notes suit pairing with sun ripened tomatoes or toasted pecans. Made from Gohyakumangoku and Koshi Ibuki rice polished to 65 percent in Niigata, it carries an SMV of +8, acidity of 1.4, and ABV of 15.5 percent.

A sake brewery with a history of 300 years in Uonuma, a snowy country. Founded 2 years (1717). Aoki Sake Brewery's sake, which is represented by "crane -age", is created by the various grace of the snowy country and the traditional technique of Echigo Mori. Among the Niigata sake, which has many "Tanrei dry", we will aim to make the sake brewing of "Tanrei -kuchi", which leaves the original taste of sake rice, and inherits the taste for the next 100 years.
