生酒のフレッシュ感を残しつつ、火入れ酒の滑らかさもあるのが「冷酒」の魅力。 控えめな香りは、果実系というよりは稲藁を思わせる素朴さを漂わせています。第一印象はおとなしめの味ながら、杯が進むほどに、しっかりした酸味と旨みが増してきます。自己主張をせず食事のじゃまをしない酒ですが、切れ味しっかりで料理に負けない芯の強さも併せもっています。
