Description

Takakiya Junmai Daiginjo Ooitamii is a seasonal limited-release centered on the Oita Mitsui (Ooitamii) rice strain, a variety that the brewery itself cultivates on farmland adjacent to its Bungo-Ono facility. Hamashima Shuzo resumed handmade brewing in 1997 and has since developed a close relationship between its farmland and brewery, making terroir-driven releases like this one a natural expression of that philosophy. The daiginjo polish and junmai purity together allow the regional rice character to speak clearly.
