Description

Takakiya Junmai Daiginjo Omachi is a seasonal release highlighting one of Japan's oldest and most prized sake rice varieties, Omachi, known for imparting an earthy depth and herbal complexity to the finished sake. Hamashima Shuzo's entirely handmade production in Bungo-Ono, Oita, brings out Omachi's characteristic richness while maintaining the elegance expected of a junmai daiginjo. The brewery's own rice-cultivation program, spanning 13 hectares, informs its sensitivity to how rice variety shapes the final expression.
