Kishu's traditional brewery, the world's best, uses the clear underwater water of the Kinogawa, and is brewed by a brewer and an outstanding technical team. Kumagusu Minami (Minamikumagusu -1867-1941), which is said to be a giant of knowledge, has achieved great achievements in the world's botanical science (especially slime molds) and folklore, and also protects the Kumano forest registered as a World Heritage Site. It is the child of the world's founder, Yaemon Minamikata.
