Kinmon Nishiki rice polished to 59% is roughly filtered to retain white suspended particles in this nigori-style junmai from Obuse, Nagano. Produced at Masuichiichimura Shuzojo using traditional wooden barrel fermentation since 1755, it presents a powerfully dry palate with minimal sweetness and a high-alcohol, assertive character.
