Description

Kiuchi Umeshu is made by steeping Ibaraki-grown ume in a base distilled from Hitachino Nest White Ale, which is triple-distilled under low-temperature vacuum to create a beer spirit. Hop-derived freshness, a light sweetness, and bright plum acidity combine in a style that won first place at the Tenma Tenjin Umeshu Grand Prix, Japan's largest plum liqueur competition.
