Description

Kintaka Nigorizake is a cloudy, unfiltered sake from Hamashima Shuzo's Bungo-Ono brewery in Oita, retaining rice sediment that gives the sake its characteristic milky appearance and fuller texture. The brewery, which resumed operations in 1997 under the direct leadership of the brewer, applies the same all-handmade approach to this more rustic style as it does to its premium daiginjo releases. The result is a substantive nigori that carries the earthy character of Oita-grown rice.
