Description

Gohyakumangoku is Niigata's most widely grown sake rice, renowned for producing light, clean, and clearly structured sake with restrained sweetness. Aoki Shuzo applies this locally significant variety to this Tokubetsu Junmai, producing an expression that stays true to the tanrei-umakuchi house style while honoring the regional rice culture that has defined sake brewing in the Uonuma area since the brewery's founding in 1717.
