Kaika Mitsuki no Yoru (三月の夜), meaning a March night, is a Daiginjo from Daiichi Sake Brewery in Sano City, Tochigi, using Yamada Nishiki in a seasonal evocative expression. From the oldest sake brewery in Tochigi (founded 1673), awarded 11 Gold Prizes at the National New Sake Competition over 20 years, this daiginjo achieves the delicate refinement suggested by its poetic seasonal name.
