Houraitsuru

Houraitsuru is the foundational expression of Harahonten, a small Hiroshima City brewery founded around 1805 and operated in an underground facility that provides natural temperature stability for year-round brewing. The brewer-owner functions as the sole toji, using Hiroshima's characteristically soft water and locally sourced rice to produce sake with the clean, smooth texture associated with the Hiroshima brewing tradition. This accessible label reflects the brewery's core philosophy of careful, small-batch craftsmanship.
