Description

Horaitsuru Tokubetsu Honjozo Teshibori is a hand-pressed tokubetsu honjozo from Harahonten in Hiroshima, where the brewer-toji extracts the finest portion of the mash by gently pressing the sake bags by hand. Using locally grown Hiroshima rice and the region's soft water with a small addition of distilled alcohol typical of honjozo, it achieves a clean, dry flavor with good depth and a smooth finish. This artisan approach to an everyday grade of sake exemplifies the brewery's dedication to craft at every tier.
