Hokkaido-grown Kirara 397 rice polished to 65% is fermented with low-koji-ratio mashing at this Asahikawa brewery, producing a well-rounded honjozo with rich flavor and ample body. Brewed with snowmelt water from the Taisetsu range, it drinks well both chilled and warmed.
