Ginjo made from Gohyakumangoku rice at Yoshino Shuzo in Chiba, where Nanbu-toji brewers have maintained hand-crafted production since 1830. The brewery self-mills all its rice and draws on soft mountain spring water, yielding the refined, low-impurity style its Koshigoi label is celebrated for.

Yoshino Sake Brewery was founded in the late Edo period during the Tempo period (1830). The motto is "make good sake with a good environment". It uses clear natural water that springs out of the vast private land, and inherits traditional sake brewing. A regular winner of the Gold Award. Recently famous as a TV location.
