Description
Gensui Daiginjo Akagawara (Red Tile) is named for the distinctive reddish-tiled rooftops that characterize Kurayoshi's historic merchant district in Tottori. Gensui Shuzo uses Yamada Nishiki polished to daiginjo standards with the soft water of the Hiezu River to produce a sake as refined and historically grounded as Kurayoshi's red-tiled old town.

The former sake brewery is a corner of Kurayoshi's symbol, the white wall storehouse along Tamagawa. The initial sake inscription went to "Asahi Masamune" early in the Taisho era. Currently, in a well -maintained environment, he uses sake brewing that values the taste of nature, while protecting the handed techniques.
