Description

This 1981 vintage umeshu uses Fukui Prefecture Benisashi plums in aged sake from the same year, which was brewed as a ginjo from Gohyakumangoku rice polished to 50%. The refined elegance of the ginjo-grade base koshu provides a distinctly more delicate foundation for the plum liqueur compared to the honjozo and junmai vintages in the series.
